In short: We write to inform, not to sell. We explain what research does and does not show, we say when we are not sure, and we label anything paid.

1. Our Purpose

Bloom Health Woman publishes free women's health tools and educational articles on periods, ovulation, fertility, pregnancy, PCOS and related topics. Our content is for general education and does not replace care from a healthcare professional.

2. Content Standards

  • Content should be accurate, original, useful and clearly written.
  • Health claims are qualified by the strength of the evidence (for example “may help”, “research suggests”). We avoid words such as “cure”, “guaranteed” or “proven” unless the evidence genuinely supports them.
  • We do not publish thin, copied or spun content, keyword-stuffed articles, or articles written mainly for backlinks.
  • Calculators explain how they work, give an example and state their limitations.

3. Sources

We draw on guidance and research from organizations such as the CDC, NIH, ACOG, WHO, NHS and FDA, and from peer-reviewed literature. Where we cite a source, we list it on the page. We do not invent citations. If an article has no references listed, treat it as general information and check with a professional.

4. Authors and Credentials

Each article shows its author. Author profiles describe each person's role and background as provided by them. We do not present anyone as a doctor, nurse or other professional unless that is their stated credential, and we do not describe content as medically reviewed unless a named, qualified reviewer has actually reviewed it and the review date is shown. At present, our founding editorial writer is not a licensed medical professional (see her profile), and articles are not marked as medically reviewed unless they say so.

5. Guest Contributors

We accept guest articles under the rules on our Write for Us page: original work, credible references, no promotional or misleading medical claims, and disclosure of any financial relationship. We may edit, decline or remove contributions. We do not sell guest-post placements or paid link insertions in our health articles.

6. Advertising, Affiliate Links and Sponsored Content

  • Ads: We show ads through Google AdSense. Advertisers do not control or pay to change our editorial content.
  • Affiliate links: Some pages, mainly supplement pages, contain affiliate links (for example to Amazon). We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not determine what we write about a product, and a link is not a medical recommendation.
  • Sponsored content: If a page or section is paid for by a brand, it is labeled “Sponsored Content” or “Paid Partnership” at the top, links to the sponsor use rel="sponsored", and it is not presented as an independent editorial recommendation. Sponsored content must follow the same accuracy rules as other content, and we decline misleading health claims.

7. Updates and Corrections

Medical guidance changes. We update articles when we find outdated information or when readers report a problem, and we show a “last updated” date where we have made changes. To report an error, use our contact form and choose “Medical Accuracy Concern”.
